Musikgarten

Musikgarten provides engaging music instruction filled with movement, carefully tailored to each age group.

From a young age, children enjoy a variety of activities, including singing, rocking, action songs, exploring rhythm instruments, imitating tonal and rhythmic patterns, and free dancing with scarves. These activities foster a deep bond between child and caregiver as they share the joy of music in class and enjoy the beautiful Musikgarten recordings at home.

As children grow, we introduce solfege for tonal patterns, more music games, structured circle dances, and songs from diverse cultures around the world.

Canta y Baila (Sing & Dance)

Canta y Baila is a music and movement class teaching Spanish through music for children ages birth to 5 and their adult caregivers. Children and adults learn language naturally and organically through the music activities, song lyrics, and the interactions in class. Anita’s classes depend on the grown-ups’ participation. They are the ones who model making music and using the language by following the teacher’s lead.

Enrolled families receive the Family Songbook with accompanying music CD and digital download, as well as, have access to a Member Portal on the website which contain additional materials
